I'm currently a reporter, weathercaster, producer, and videographer for KNDO-TV, the NBC affiliate in Yakima, WA. In my perspective, they are all connected, and doing each well enhances my ability to do the rest.
Many aspects of television journalism intrigue me basically because I am innately inquisitive and annalytical. I love to know things and share what I've learned with others. That passion drives me not only to bring viewers the stories that are important to them, but tell them the stories they aren't aware affect them.
I graduated from UCLA with a major in mass communications and a minor in Spanish, and I continued my education with a certificate program in broadcast journalism from UCLA Extention.
The Los Angeles area has always been my home, but I love to travel. My favorite countries so far are Greece and Eygypt, but Thailand is a pretty close third (yes that's a real tiger and even though the monks deny it, I'm pretty sure they keep them sedated). Also, I recently completed my seventh marathon (the finishing medal by Tiffany was presented by firefighters in tuxedos!).
